SHAWNEE, Okla. – Gordon Cooper Technology Center and the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education hosted Oklahoma Secretary of Agriculture, Blayne Arthur, Thursday to preview GCTC’s upcoming Meat Processing laboratory.
Meat Processing is a new offering from ODCTE that will be coming soon to 11 high schools and five Skills Centers statewide, as well as three technology centers including Gordon Cooper Technology Center.
Gordon Cooper superintendent Bob Perry, Director of Business and Career Services Sarah Weeks and Ag Business Coordinator Jeremy Frye were on hand to represent GCTC.
The presentation also included state representative Dell Kerbs, Oklahoma CareerTech Chief-of-Staff Becki Foster and Oklahoma CareerTech Skills Centers Superintendent Greg DeWald.
