Gordon Cooper Technology Center’s annual Rocket Man Run, originally scheduled for April 4, has been postponed due to public-health concerns from COVID-19.
The race will now take place on Aug. 22. Registration for the race will remain open.
Participants can sign up for the event here. The Rocket Man Run includes a 5K run and a fun walk. All proceeds from the event go to support the Gordon Cooper Technology Center Foundation.
The Gordon Cooper Technology Center Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. The Foundation receives its funding entirely from the donations and focuses on solving short-term emergency needs for students so they can focus on their education and future.
The event begins at 8:30 a.m. at the GCTC Aviation Campus. For all race information click here.
